Welcome to RadioWeave! top

With RadioWeave, you have complete control over your listening experience, which can include your favorite songs, real-time tweets from friends and entertaining podcasts, as well as automatic breaking news updates and local weather and traffic reports all rolled into a blended audio stream. The stream is an audio mashup of all the channels that you've subscribed to or created.

Other RadioWeave users can also add your channels to blend into their own personalized radio stream. In this way, RadioWeavers can hear an ever-changing, unique, and unpredictable background soundtrack about them, their friends, and things that they are interested in.

RadioWeave is:

What can I do with RadioWeave? top

Listen. Browse. Explore. Record. Upload. Reply. Grab music clips from Amazon's MP3 library (then buy the full songs if you like them). Type a short message and have RadioWeave speechify it for you. Create Twitter channels for popular Twitterers. Find your favorite podcasts. Get friends to join and contribute.

Maybe you'll create a closed network of your best friends, where you all share short thoughts, snippets of your favorite songs, and weird sounds that somehow escape your mouths when the microphone is on. Maybe you're more interested in hearing the sounds of nature currently being uploaded by travelers around the world. Maybe you want to hear what people at live concerts are uploading over their cell phones. Maybe you want to create the channel "for and about aficionados of weird odors." Or maybe you want to combine all of the above. Whatever.

Like traditional radio, we don't expect you to give your undivided attention to your RadioWeave stream. Instead, you can leave RadioWeave running in the background when you feel the need for some audible wallpaper.

RadioWeave will never replace facespace or mybook or twitku or tumblspot, or Celebrity Gossip Weekly, or professional musicians, or TV. RadioWeave is different, and complementary, to all of those.

Why a 3-second to 1-minute time limit? top

Because we want the listening experience to be interesting and always changing. Give some people 61 seconds and they'll bore you to death.
